The aim of Pursuit is to introduce people to the vision and values of IHOP Atlanta and to allow them to experience first-hand what it would be like to be on staff at the House of Prayer. Though this program does serve as a means of training new staff at IHOP Atlanta, it is not solely for those who want to move here and join staff. It is also open to anyone interested in finding out what the House of Prayer is all about, as well as those desiring to spend a season of consecration before the Lord.

Pursuit participants will be actively involved in many of the various facets of the IHOP Atlanta Missions Base. This involvement will include taking School of Ministry classes, spending times of personal devotion in the prayer room, participating in corporate intercession sets, evangelism and outreach, and receiving hands on ministry training.

FSM: Overview of the End Times Discussion Class

Instructor: Jamie Pridgen
Time: Sundays 8:30-10am
Dates: May 22 - August 2

In light of the turmoil across the nations and catastrophic events of the past decade, the subject of the end times has become a hot topic in recent days. With over 150 chapters in the Bible that reference the end-times, this subject cannot be ignored. Instead of a lecture-style course, this will be a discussion based, question and answer style class. We will study the powerful drama that will lead to the Second Coming of Jesus and the establishment of His Kingdom on earth through group discussion, helpful debates, and questions mixed with some teaching topics. If you have questions about the end-times and want to grow in your understanding of the Scriptures, join us for this course.

FSM: Power Evangelism & Discipleship Class

Instructors: Hazen Stevens, Caleb Andrews, Gabe Palmer, Andrew Faletti
Time: Tuesdays 6:15pm-7:45pm
Dates: May 15--August 2

Jesus’ final instruction to His disciples was to, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel” (Mark 16:15) and “make disciples of all nations” (Mat. 28:19). This is the great commission of the Church from generation to generation and Jesus promised we’d receive power from the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses (Acts 1:8). We are all called to have eternal impact in our schools, workplace, and church community, through declaring the Gospel. In this class, you will be trained in biblical and practical concepts for gospel proclamation, power evangelism with signs & wonders, and discipleship. Come be equipped through this class to be an effective and fruitful witness for Jesus.
