IHOP-Atlanta

September 9th, 2010

On January 29th, 2010 IHOP Atlanta hosted a Leadership Summit, gathering leaders from around the nation to receive instruction and impartation for building a house of prayer. God visited that weekend in an unusual way. Many were touched powerfully by the Holy Spirit. Since then we have held extra services every Friday - Sunday. The Lord has continued to pour out His Spirit in a marked way, with many receiving physical and emotional healing. Because the move of the Spirit has continued to intensify we are extending the meetings indefinitely. As long as the Lord is moving, we want to receive all that He desires to release.

We realize that the work the Lord is doing in our nation right now is much broader than what is happening at IHOP Atlanta. He is pouring out His Spirit in Kansas City, as well as many other places around the nation, especially college campuses. We believe that this outpouring is part of an awakening the Lord desires to bring to our nation. We feel that what is happening at IHOP Atlanta is one part of this broader awakening.

Join us as Awakening Services continue at IHOP Atlanta every Friday & Saturday at 7 p.m. and every Sunday night at 6 p.m.. Come hungry and bring those who are in need of a touch from God.


PROPHECY AND HEALING ROOMS
Prophecy and Healing Rooms will be open one hour before the awakening meetings begin. Prophetic and healing ministry is available on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like ministry, please arrive early and sign up in the foyer of IHOP Atlanta.

 

TESTIMONIES FROM THE AWAKENING
The Lord is moving in powerful ways during the awakening meetings. Many are experiencing physical and emotional healing. Others are being refreshed by the love of God. Here are some of the testimonies from the most recent rawakening meetings:

Physical Healing: Back and Leg Pain, 8/29/10
I have had pain in my back and legs for about 2 years. I also have one leg that is shorter than the other. Tonight I received prayer. The Lord touched my body. The pain left my back and legs. My leg also grew out to be equal with the other leg. --Donna

Physical Healing: Back and Leg Pain, 8/29/10
I have had back pain and numbness with pain running down both of my legs for 1 1/2 years now. Tonight I received prayer and the pain left my back and legs. Feeling came back into my right leg. Praise God! --Jimmy

Experienced God's Love for the First Time, 8/29/10
I have always heard about God's love and His presence. I have talked with others about this subject and read books that discussed it. However, I had never experienced it for myself. Tonight, during the Awakening Service, for the first time ever, I experienced the presence and the love of God in a real, tangible way. I felt the love of God actually envelope me and fill my entire being!!! It was incredible! --David

Physical Healing: Left Knee, 8/28/10
I have had pain in my left knee on and off for years now. Tonight, a word of knowledge was given for left knee pain. I raised my hand and received prayer. After they prayed for my knee three times, all the pain left. My knee is healed! --Elizabeth

Physical Healing: Foot and Varicose Veins, 8/28/10
I have had numbness in my foot from a fractured ankle as well as varicose veins for years. During the Awakening Service, I went forward to the altar area. I felt the Holy Spirit touch and fill my heart with His presence. I received prayer for healing. After the prayer, I regained feeling in my foot. My varicose veins also greatly improved. I felt the anointing of God tonight and am healed.

Physical Healing: One Leg Shorter than the Other, 8/27/10
I have had one leg that was shorter than the other. As I received prayer at the Awakening Service, my leg grew out! It is now equal with my other leg. --Kelli

Freedom from Depression and Self-Hatred, 8/27/10
God set me free tonight from depression and self-hatred. I received revelation tonight of the righteousness that I have in Christ. My name means "worthy of love" and I finally believe that I am worthy of God's love.

Physical Healing: Curvature of the Spine and Back Pain, 8/27/10
I have had a curve in my spine and have experienced extreme pain on contact for the past 7 years. Tonight during the Awakening Service, I received prayer and all the pain in my back left! --Christina

Encounter Service

The IHOP Atlanta Encounter Service is held twice weekly, on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each service incorporates prophetic worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry times. Each service is geared to call individuals to a depth of the knowledge of God, intimacy with Jesus, urgency for the hour, and the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle. Through proclamation and impartation, each service is focused on providing a place for encounter with God for the individual, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the city of Atlanta. Immediately following the service, there is an Information meeting for anyone desiring more information regarding IHOP Atlanta.

Staff Intercession Meeting
9/14/2010 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday is a designated prayer and fasting day for IHOP Atlanta staff and family. We have scheduled intercession meetings at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m., and midnight. We ask that all staff make it a priority to attend the weekly Tuesday 4 p.m. intercession meeting, as this is the one time weekly that we come together as a community for worship and intercession. Full-time staff are required to attend the 4 p.m. and an additional intercession meeting on Tuesday. Part-time staff are required to attend only the 4 p.m. intercession meeting. This meeting is open to the public as are all IHOP Atlanta prayer meetings
Silent Siege
9/18/2010 11:00am - 1:00pm

We are meeting the first and third Saturday of the month from 11am - 1pm.

Bound for Life Atlanta Silent Sieges take place at the GA State Capitol in downtown ATL on Washington St. A silent siege is a two-hour prayer meeting where intercessors stand in front of a local abortion clinic, wearing red life tape over their mouth, identifying with the silent cries of the unborn, asking God to come with justice, to end abortion, and to send revival to America.
