The Pursuit Application Process

  1. The application packet has nine components. We require that you send in the first seven components together in one envelope.
    1. Application Form
    2. Personal Photograph
    3. Your 1-2 page personal testimony, typed. (See application for instructions)
    4. Background Check Release Form
    5. Gifting and Experience Form
    6. Musician / Singer Information
    7. $50.00 non-refundable application processing fee. Make checks payable to IHOP Atlanta with “The Pursuit Internship” on the memo line.
    8. Pastoral Recommendation Form (This form is sent in by the Pastor)
    9. Personal Reference Form (This form is sent in by the reference)
  2. Send the first seven components together in an envelope to:

  3. The application deadline is four weeks prior to the start date of The Pursuit Internship. Applications must be post-marked by the application deadline date in order to be considered for acceptance.
  4. Upon receipt of your application, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone to set up an appointment for a phone interview with you. We will notify you of your acceptance within thirty days of the interview.
  5. Upon acceptance into The Pursuit Internship at IHOP Atlanta, you will receive a letter of acceptance by mail or e-mail.

Global Bridegroom Fast
9/6/2010 to 9/8/2010
The Global Bridegroom Fast is a monthly, solemn assembly of believers all over the globe in unified holy abandonment to Jesus for three days. We are calling believers worldwide to join together in unified prayer and fasting for revival motivated by experiencing love for Jesus. This is not simply an event, but a new lifestyle in the grace of God. Anyone in any place can participate in the Global Bridegroom Fast. At IHOP Atlanta, we set aside these three days as corporate fasting days for anyone who wants to participate.
Staff Intercession Meeting
9/7/2010 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday is a designated prayer and fasting day for IHOP Atlanta staff and family. We have scheduled intercession meetings at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m., and midnight. We ask that all staff make it a priority to attend the weekly Tuesday 4 p.m. intercession meeting, as this is the one time weekly that we come together as a community for worship and intercession. Full-time staff are required to attend the 4 p.m. and an additional intercession meeting on Tuesday. Part-time staff are required to attend only the 4 p.m. intercession meeting. This meeting is open to the public as are all IHOP Atlanta prayer meetings
Encounter Service

The IHOP Atlanta Encounter Service is held twice weekly, on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each service incorporates prophetic worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry times. Each service is geared to call individuals to a depth of the knowledge of God, intimacy with Jesus, urgency for the hour, and the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle. Through proclamation and impartation, each service is focused on providing a place for encounter with God for the individual, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the city of Atlanta. Immediately following the service, there is an Information meeting for anyone desiring more information regarding IHOP Atlanta.

Silent Siege
9/18/2010 11:00am - 1:00pm

We are meeting the first and third Saturday of the month from 11am - 1pm.

Bound for Life Atlanta Silent Sieges take place at the GA State Capitol in downtown ATL on Washington St. A silent siege is a two-hour prayer meeting where intercessors stand in front of a local abortion clinic, wearing red life tape over their mouth, identifying with the silent cries of the unborn, asking God to come with justice, to end abortion, and to send revival to America.
